It was a horrible experience here when something goes wrong, and definitely the worst I've ever experienced - even a 10 USD/night hotel can do way better than this.
The room was okay while a bit humid in the room, which is totally acceptable in Singapore.
The bad luck start at 10 pm first day, I found there was no hot water for shower. I called reception, and the only thing I got was "try it for a bit longer". Apparently that didn't work after 15 minutes.
I called reception again, and she refused to do anything - not even taking a look at the room. I went down to reception to make complaint, and was told that literally NOTHING could be done, as it was fully booked. She even refused to call manager, saying "It's too late and let's wait for tomorrow".
Really frustrated, I called hotels.com to help, and luckily it worked. She finally let us move to another room without window, telling us we had to move back tomorrow. It is so obvious she was lying earlier.
Second day we moved back. In evening around 8pm, they said it could not be fixed, so the plan was: giving another room card to us, and letting us to take shower there (Room 301). Fine, we were really tired and decided to accept it.
At 0:30, midnight, reception called us (and apparently woke up us from sleeping) and asking us to return the room card of 301. It really upset us. Tired and frustrated, we just followed her and gave it back.
The THIRD day, we finally moved into a room with everything working fine.
